The Knight Crusader trades melee capability for overwhelming ranged firepower, mounting an avenger gatling cannon paired with a thermal cannon as its primary armament. Where other Questoris patterns close to engage, the Crusader holds the line, suppressing entire enemy formations under a torrent of high-velocity rounds. The avenger gatling cannon spins at terrifying rates, its barrels glowing red with sustained fire as it carves through infantry and light vehicles alike. Crusader pilots tend to be elder lords of their houses — veterans who have outgrown the romance of single combat and now prefer the cold calculus of battlefield dominance. Twin shoulder-mounted weapon systems, often heavy stubbers or missile pods, layer the Crusader's fire profile across multiple ranges. Deployed alongside [[astra-militarum]] regiments and [[adeptus-astartes]] strike forces, a single Crusader can anchor an entire defensive position, its banners marking the line beyond which the [[imperium]] does not yield.
