The Cerastus Knight-Atrapos is among the rarest and most feared of all Cerastus-pattern relics, a precision assassin chassis equipped with weapons whose technological provenance traces directly to the [[dark-age-technology]]. Its atrapos lascutter is a focused energy beam capable of slicing through titan armour with surgical precision, while its graviton singularity cannon manipulates localised gravity to crush armoured targets from within. Where the Knight-Lancer charges in raw cavalry fury, the Atrapos stalks — a hunter rather than a warrior, designed to terminate single high-value targets and disappear before the enemy can react. The Atrapos pattern is technically forbidden by certain factions within the [[adeptus-mechanicus]], who consider its weapons to verge on heretical innovation.
