Archaeopter Transvector
Sacred Hovering Conveyor of the Cohort
The Archaeopter Transvector is the troop-carrying configuration of the recovered Archaeopter pattern, trading the Stratoraptor's lascannons and the Fusilave's bomb-bay for an enclosed pressurised cargo bay capable of conveying six fully-augmented Skitarii or Sicarian operatives — or a single Tech-Priest Magos with full retinue. The Transvector's three-rotor propulsion makes it equally at home in pressurised forge-vault corridors and open battlefield airspace, allowing the Cult Mechanicus to deliver elite operatives to the most contested points of any campaign without exposing them to a dangerous parachute drop or vulnerable ground transport. Its armament is deliberately minimal — a single cognis heavy stubber covers the cargo bay's rear ramp during disembark — but its airframe is heavily armoured for its weight class, and the Transvector's machine spirit is rumoured to refuse take-off if the embarked cohort has not properly recited the embarkation litany. Veteran Tech-Priest passengers describe the Transvector's hovering descent as a 'falling chapel', the pressurised cargo bay's interior etched with hexagonal seals and binary catechisms that calm the cybernetic anxiety of disembarking augmented operatives.

Tactical Role
Transvectors deliver elite Skitarii, Sicarian or Tech-Priest passengers to contested objectives, their hovering descent allowing the disembark to occur on rooftops, narrow ledges, or among the ruins of breached fortifications. Their light armament makes them dependent on escort by Stratoraptors when contested airspace is anticipated.
